Tournament Rules

* In the competition, the Official International rules of the Game apply and the competition will be played over two sets won.
* The matches will be supervised by the referees of the Antalya region of the Turkish Volleyball Federation, and the scoreboard will be monitored by special officials.
* Teams can compete under any club name and also use the sponsor's name.
They can also compete under a name of their choice.
* Two (2) points are awarded to the winning team and zero (0) points are awarded to the losing team in a (2-0) competition.
* In competitions with a result of 2-1, the winning team is awarded 2 (two) points, and the losing team is awarded 1 (one) point
* (2) Points are added to the total score of the team that wins a technical win. (0) points awarded to the losing team.
* The height of the net may differ from that specified in the Official International Rules of the Game, subject to the decision of the technical meeting
* Substitutions in competitions are unlimited. A player leaving the game can return to the game again
* The maximum number of athletes that will enter the field will be 14
* Teams that do not show up for games on time will be subject to a 10-minute waiting period. A team that does not appear after this time is considered the loser
* This period cannot be extended by agreement between the two teams. In exceptional cases, the decision of the commission is valid
* The matches will be officiated by official referees and observers from Antalya.
* Teams from Europe, Asia and Turkey will participate in the tournament.
Each team will play at least 5 matches during the tournament
* Each team which participates at the International Youth Tournament may
have 2 players in its team who is older than the team’s age group. But this
player may only be maximum of one year older than the age group.
* If more than 2 players older than the age category are found on the field, the team that violated the rules of the tournament will be considered a defeat with a score of 3-0
* All decisions at the tournament are made by the Organizing Committee of the Tournament
* Each team must submit an Application (list of the team, including the coach and officials), indicating the international passport data, to the Administration of the "Antalya Volleyball Friendship Cup" before January 31, 2025. The application must be signed by the Team Leader, and certified with the appropriate seals
* Before the game, each coach must have with him a copy of the Application Form and documents (foreign passport) confirming the identity and age of each team player, in accordance with the Application Form. The coach of the opposing team, who wants to see (view) the documents (Application and foreign passports) of the players of the other team, by which it is possible to accurately determine the age of the player, has the full right to familiarize himself with these documents in the presence of the match referee
* A protest due to age inconsistencies of players can be submitted before the start of the match or within 15-20 minutes after it ends. The referee of the match must record the protest in short form in the match report
* Volleyball Club (Academy, School) can take part in several teams in different age categories (groups), as well as several teams in one of the age groups. Enrolled players can only play for one team
* If the teams go to the game in T-shirts of the same color, then the team, according to the decision of the referee, "standing" second in the schedule (program) of the games, must change the T-shirts to another color. Each team must have at the tournament two sets of uniforms of different colors (light and dark)
* All teams must be ready to participate in the game at least 15 minutes before it starts
* Team leaders are responsible for the order and behavior of their fans, the parents of the players who "cheer" for their teams
* All athletes participating in the tournament will be awarded medals
